Tiga28th May 2010
From its humble beginnings as a hip supermarket chain, Turbo Recordings has grown into a Downtown Canada fixture, a haven for WorlDJs and dancers alike. Founded by well-liked Groove-Shaman Tiga, the independent label has emerged at the forefront of the contemporary Bravewave scene with a roster including such luminaries as Jesper Dahlback, D.I.M., Proxy, Jori Hulkkonen, Zdar, Martini Bros, Stu Thousand VI, and Tiga himself, Tiga.
d3's quadhead machine was used to pre-simulate and output renowned visual artist Andreas Nilsson's content onto three separate projection screens.
As d3 operator Richard Shipman was listening to what the dj's were playing (different acts every night!) he could easily jump from one que to another in the d3 timeline. By quantizing the video clips and bringing audio tracks from the set into d3 he could also sync the clips to the beat of the music.
Barco Demo Room10th November 2009
At Barco headquarters in Kuurne a new demo suite has been set up to showcase the latest digital lighting products by Barco and High End Systems. d3 was used as both the video and audio master playback server, whilst also generating the timecode from which the show was controlled.
Perfectly compatible with all equipment presented including Barco 6mm, FLX 24, FLX 60, DLM 1200 and HighEnd Systems' DL3, Showgun, Showpix, AXON media server, and theWhole Hog Full Boar lighting control desk. Queues via MIDI Show Control (MSC) from the full boar triggered d3 though it's scenes with the main scene providing midi timecode back to the Full Boar, along with audio and video content to the displays. The system is a permanent install.

Robbie Williams - X Factor15th October 2009
Using the three-dimensional manufacturing drawings of the X Factor set design, d3 was used to create and visualize the Robbie Williams visuals in real-time, with perfect sync to the beat of the music. With d3's advanced projection system, content could be “virtually projected” onto the complex three-dimensional design, made out of a number of different types of LED screens.
By using d3 the design team could not only visualize the content for their own purpose but also show the client in real-time exactly what it would look like, weeks before the production rehearsals. Mistakes was thereby be avoided and immediate changes were made in front of the client.
d3 was later used to output movies according to the show’s output template which was specified by the technical management. These movies were then played by a conventional media server.
